Hurricane.Finance Pre-Launch Update — December 3rd, 2020

We would like to thank all of you for being loyal Storm Watchers. In just a few days you’ll be able to start chasing these amazing Hurricanes and earning LARGE rewards! We have prioritized your concerns and are working diligently to address each of them. You’ll be happy to know we are on track for launch this Monday, December 7th, 2020.
We’re a team who focuses on the community and their needs. After last weekend, recouping losses and doubling or even tripling profits is something we know all of us are looking for. That’s where $CANE is stepping in with its high quality and audited experimental yield farming!
Let’s jump into some of our Pre-Launch updates and review some of the concerns we received from you, our community.
The initial audit results have been returned. You can look below for a quick summary of TheBlockchainAuditor’s review:
1 critical bug found
- This previously affected the treasury fee on withdrawals
- This bug has been fixed as of December 2nd, 2020
17 informational suggestions found
- All informational bugs have been resolved as of December 3rd, 2020
- Additional test units have been added and some behavior updated
TheBlockchainAuditor will be completing a version 2 audit
We’ve made some improvements to the contract based on community needs
Farming is set for December 7th, 2020 @ 19:00 UTC by default. Depending on gas fees at launch the smart contract will support a delay up to December 10th, 2020 @ 19:00 UTC. After December 10th, farming will begin and can never be paused.
You can now see 3 buckets for your earnings:
- CANE Farming Rewards
- ETH Rewards from LP fees
- CANE Rewards from LP fees
For Katrina and non-ETH pools, all claimed LP rewards will be received in ETH
Even more optimizations to give you the best gas fees on withdrawals and claims
A new verified contract has now been published (see here)
We have forwarded details for a second audit to VidalTheAuditor (awaiting confirmation)
We have opened up a form to collect questions for a FAQ (see here)
Most importantly, launch is on schedule for December 7th, 2020 @ 19:00 UTC
