As you know, our Storm Experts (the 3-dev team) is always working tirelessly to make some of our wildest dreams come true. We’re happy to announce that they have done just that! While we are officially delaying our launch we are bringing you even more amazing AirGrab (aka AirDrop) features. Check out the full list of AirGrab features below!
The AirGrabbing feature has its own dedicated claims area. This page will allow you to select the claiming option that best suits your needs. You can:
Claim and Stake HCANE* — this function focuses on finding the unstaked CANE** you previously had in your wallet PLUS the CANE previously staked in Hugo and earned from our storms. Calculating the total and staking it all into Hugo.
Claim and Stake ETH* — this function searches for the ETH you submitted to LP during your time chasing Hurricane Katrina. It calculates the available balance and stakes it to Katrina.
Return my ETH — this function searches for the ETH you submitted to LP, similar to Claim and Stake ETH, except it will transfer your available ETH to your wallet with no penalties (excluding gas fees). With this option, you are ending your Storm Chasing days altogether.
Note: *This option will reset your staking/claim timer giving you the option to claim and/or withdraw your $ETH or $HCANE according to the charts displayed here (with the new 6% exit fee adjustment to Hurricane Katrina applied).
**Any unstaked CANE that remained in your wallet can now be claimed and automatically restaked in Hugo as a part of the Claim and Stake HCANE feature. You will also receive any pending interest earned in CANE from the exit/claiming fees.
With this new update, you are probably wondering: How much am I getting back? (All of the following calculations are based on information available from the snapshot prior to exploit)
When you choose to use the Claim and Stake HCANE function, the system searches for all of your CANE staked in Hugo, ALL of your earned pending rewards (including interest earned from exit/claim fees) and ALL of the CANE that was in your wallet. This amount is added together to provide you with 100% of your CANE restaked as $HCANE in Hugo.
With the Return my ETH and Claim and Stake ETH option the system totals the amount of ETH you deposited when staking with Katrina. Since approximately 85% of your ETH was returned from the exploit, you will receive 85% of your staked ETH back to your wallet or restaked in Katrina, depending on your selection.
We decided to focus on completing these additions after a vast number of community members raised concerns around pending rewards and the CANE they owned in their wallet. As your loyal Storm Experts and Meteorologists we do what we can to resolve community concerns swiftly. At times, this may lead to adjustments to our scheduled plans but we do what we can to make our community happy.
With these final new updates being implemented we are now PERMANENTLY set for launch on December 15th, 2020 at 19:00 UTC (2pm EST). As we get ready to start Storm Chasing again you should keep an eye on our News Channels via Telegram, Discord or Twitter to be the first to get important updates!
